Chessmaster 10th edtion patch 1.0.3

Hi,

I've tried to install the last patch of CM 10th edition.(patch 1.0.3) and I
got the following message :

"This program cannot update the installed version of CM 10th edition patch
1.0.3 because of
"unknown version of Anim8.dll"

The "anim8.dll" is effectivelty present and the version of it is 4.0.1.0

Any idea ??

Are you trying to update a version other that the U.S. version?
If so, I'd try deleting CM 10, reinstall it and then reapply the patch.
A reinstallation might correct the version problem. FWIW,
my version of anim8.dll is also 4.0.1.0.
